AI Diet Plans Drafted Fast, Checked by You
A full diet plan takes hours to write by hand. GymCity drafts one from the details you already keep for each client, and you decide what stays. The AI does the first pass; your experience does the rest.

What is GymCity AI Diet Plans?
AI Diet Plans is a GymCity tool for personal trainers. It uses OpenAI or Google Gemini to draft a diet plan from a client's goals, health records, measurements and diet questionnaire. The draft lists daily calories, macros, meals, water and supplements. The trainer reviews and edits it, and the client sees it in their app.
Why Trainers Use AI Diet Plans
Hours per Plan
Working out calories, macros and four meals a day for each client eats the time you could spend coaching. With twenty clients it becomes a second job.
A first draft while you wait.Generic Plans
Copying one chart for everyone ignores a client's goal, health conditions and the foods they will actually eat. Clients notice and stop following it.
Built from each client's goals, health and answers.AI You Cannot Check
A plan from a general chatbot has no link to the client's records and no trail of what changed. You cannot stand behind what you cannot review.
You edit the plan; earlier plans are saved.AI Diet Plans in 3 Steps
Pick a Client
Go to Training, then AI Diet Plans, and choose one of your own clients from the list. You can also start from the AI Diet Plan button on the client's profile. The page shows the client's details, their latest plan and any earlier ones, so you know where you are starting from.

Fill In What the Plan Needs
Add at least one goal, such as Fat Loss, and at least one health record. Then fill in the diet questionnaire: activity level, meals a day, water, diet type, foods they like and avoid, restrictions, supplements and what they struggle with. A recent height and weight is optional but makes the calorie target more accurate.

Generate, Check and Edit
Choose a timeline of 1 month or 3 to 6 months and press Generate. The plan usually appears on screen while you wait, and GymCity emails you a link when it is ready. Your client can open the latest plan in their app, so read it straight away, change meals, portions or calories with Edit Plan, and then talk it through with them.

Made for How You Work
Start from a complete plan instead of a blank page, then spend your time on the parts that need your judgement.
Change meals, portions or calories to suit local food and the client's routine. The AI suggests; you decide.
Earlier plans stay under Previous Diet Plan, so you can compare what changed between months.
What You Get With AI Diet Plans
GymCity drafts diet plans with OpenAI or Google Gemini. Whichever is used, it gets the same instructions and must answer in the same format, so every plan has the same parts: a daily calorie target, protein, carbs and fats, breakfast, lunch, dinner and an evening snack, water, and supplements. You do not need your own AI account or key.
Only what the plan needs: the client's name, age, gender and blood group, their latest height, weight, body fat and BMI, questionnaire answers, goal names, health condition names and current workout. Payment details, phone numbers and chat messages are never sent. Tell your clients their answers are used to draft a plan.
No. It is a draft written by software for a trainer to review, not advice from a doctor or dietitian, and GymCity does not check it for medical safety. For clients who are pregnant or have diabetes, kidney disease, an eating disorder or another medical condition, follow their doctor's advice first and adjust the plan to match it.
Yes. Open the latest plan and press Edit Plan to change calories, macros, meals, water or supplements. Your client sees the edited version on their home screen and on their AI Diet Plans page. Earlier plans are kept under Previous Diet Plan for reference, but only the latest plan can be edited.
Yes. Each client can get a set number of generated plans per month, and the page tells you when the limit is reached. The limit is per client, so a busy trainer with many clients is not held back. Edits to an existing plan do not count, so fix small things by editing rather than generating again.
Yes. Anyone with a free GymCity account can make a plan for themselves from their personal profile under My Diet Plans, using the same questionnaire. A trainer's client sees the plans their trainer made instead. Gyms use Diet Charts, which they write themselves, rather than AI Diet Plans.
