1. About these terms
GymCity is a product of CodersBucket Ltd. ("CBL", "GymCity", "we", "us"). Company details: codersbucket.com. By creating an account or using GymCity, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you use GymCity for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business. If you don't agree with these terms, don't use GymCity.
2. Who can use GymCity
You must be 13 or older.
Members aged 13 to 17 can use GymCity only with a parent's or guardian's consent. A gym or trainer who adds such a member must get that consent and keep a record of it.
To own a gym or trainer account, or to pay for a plan, you must be 18 or older.
Keep your password and sign-in codes private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
3. Accounts for gyms and trainers
The gym owner, or the independent trainer, is the account holder. The account holder:
chooses which staff and trainers get access and what each role can do;
is responsible for what their staff and trainers do in GymCity;
must keep the business details on GymCity true and up to date.
4. What GymCity provides
GymCity includes:
member, package and branch management;
attendance by fingerprint door device or QR code;
invoices and online payments;
chats, SMS, WhatsApp and push notifications;
workout and diet plans, including AI diet plan drafts;
a public profile in the GymCity marketplace, with requests and reviews;
the mobile app.
Which features you get depends on your plan. If your plan doesn't include a feature, any records you made with it stay visible and can be printed or exported, but can't be changed until you upgrade. Your members only see the features your plan includes. We may add, change or remove features at any time. If we remove a main Pro feature, we will tell Pro accounts first where we reasonably can.
5. Plans, prices and billing
Plans. GymCity has a Free plan and a Pro plan. What each includes, such as the monthly SMS allowance, is on the Pricing page.
Billing period. Pro is paid in advance, monthly or yearly.
Currency. Your billing currency is set when you sign up:
Taka (BDT), paid through SSLCommerz with bKash, Nagad or card;
US dollars (USD), sold by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle charges your card (or another method shown at checkout), adds the sales tax for your country and sends your receipt. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to these payments.
To change your currency, contact us.
Tax. Taka prices include VAT. US dollar prices are before tax: Paddle adds the sales tax or VAT for your country at checkout, and you see the total before you pay.
Renewal. Your plan renews at the end of each period until you cancel:
USD plans are charged automatically by Paddle to the card you saved at checkout.
BDT plans get a bill before the period ends, and you pay it online.
Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies. A yearly plan keeps its price until it renews.
Late payment. If a renewal isn't paid, Pro features pause until you pay, and after 30 days the account moves to the Free plan without charging you for that renewal. Nothing is deleted. Our Refund Policy explains each step.
6. Upgrading, downgrading and cancelling
Upgrading starts straight away. The unused part of your current plan is credited on the new bill.
Cancelling or downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. You keep using Pro until then, even if you cancel today, and we don't refund the unused part. You can undo it before that date.
On a smaller plan, anything over its limits (for example more membership plans than it allows) is kept but becomes read-only; the oldest ones stay usable. Upgrading again makes everything usable as before. We don't delete your data because you changed plans.
Our Refund Policy explains when we do refund.
7. Payments members make to gyms and trainers
When a member pays a gym or trainer through GymCity, the gym or trainer is the seller and receives the money. GymCity provides the payment tool and doesn't hold the money. The gym or trainer sets its own prices, packages, rules and refunds. Questions about those payments, including refunds, go to the gym or trainer. GymCity is not part of the agreement between a member and a gym or trainer, and is not responsible for their services, prices, refunds or disputes.
8. Marketplace, listings and claims
GymCity lists gyms and trainers so people can find them. We may create a listing from public information.
A business can claim its listing by proving it owns it. We review the documents sent with each claim.
Once claimed, the business is responsible for keeping its listing accurate: prices, hours, services, photos and trainers.
We may edit, hide or remove a listing that is false, out of date, misleading or breaks these terms.
A listing on GymCity is not a recommendation. We don't guarantee that any listing, price, certificate or review is correct. Members should check a gym or trainer for themselves before joining.
9. Reviews and content you post
You keep ownership of what you post, such as photos, reviews, messages and plans. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, copy, resize and show it to run and promote GymCity, including on your public profile. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
You must not post content that:
is false or fake, including reviews for your own business or against a competitor;
is abusive, hateful or sexual;
breaks someone else's rights;
contains someone else's personal data without their consent.
Gyms choose which reviews appear on their profile. We don't check content before it is posted and aren't responsible for what other people post. We may remove any content that breaks these rules or the law.
10. Health and fitness
GymCity is a software tool, not a medical service. Workout plans, diet plans and AI diet plan drafts are not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise or diet plan, especially if you have a health condition.
AI diet plan drafts can contain mistakes. The trainer must check every draft before sharing it.
Gyms and trainers are independent businesses, not GymCity employees. They are responsible for their own training, advice, facilities and safety.
You train, follow plans and visit gyms at your own risk. As far as the law allows, GymCity is not responsible for any injury, illness or loss that comes from exercise, diet, a gym's facilities or a trainer's advice.
11. Data
Your data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data.
Data that gyms and trainers keep. A gym or trainer controls the records it keeps about its members, such as profiles, attendance, payments, health records and plans. GymCity processes those records on its behalf. For those records:
Use. We use them only to provide GymCity, never for our own marketing, and we don't sell them.
Access. Only staff who need to work on the account can see them, and they keep them confidential.
Service providers. We use the kinds of providers listed in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us by email for their names.
Requests and breaches. We help you answer members' requests, and we tell you without undue delay about any breach that affects your members.
When you leave. You can ask for a copy of your records by email within 30 days after your account closes. After that, we may delete them, apart from what we must keep by law and backups, which expire after 90 days.
Gym and trainer responsibilities. As the gym or trainer, you must:
have a lawful reason to collect each member's data;
get any consent needed, including WhatsApp consent and guardian consent for members under 18;
tell your members how you use their data;
follow the law for your own business, including tax, consumer and messaging rules, and for every SMS and WhatsApp message you send through GymCity.
Your own copies. Keep your own copies of records you need. You can print or export them at any time.
Anonymous data. We may use statistics that can't identify anyone to improve GymCity.
12. Other services
GymCity works with other companies' services, such as payments, SMS, WhatsApp, maps, AI and Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in. Their own terms apply to them. We aren't responsible for their services, and we can't guarantee that every SMS, WhatsApp message, email or notification is delivered.
13. GymCity's name and software
The GymCity name, logo, website, app and software belong to CodersBucket Ltd. You may use them only to use GymCity as these terms allow. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.
14. Acceptable use
Don't:
use another person's account;
try to get into data you're not allowed to see;
copy or scrape GymCity;
send spam by SMS, WhatsApp or email;
upload harmful code;
use GymCity for anything illegal.
15. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (in the app: More → Account → Delete My Account). If you own a gym or have an active Pro plan, end or transfer it first.
We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, that breaks these terms or the law, or puts others at risk. An unpaid plan is handled as described in section 5, not by closing the account. Unless the problem is serious or the law stops us, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
If we stop offering GymCity, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid Pro plan.
16. Our responsibility
GymCity is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and correct, but we can't promise it will always be free of faults, interruptions or data loss.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data, or for what gyms, trainers, members or other services do.
As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for all claims is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Claims against us because of you. If you break these terms or the law, or someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your business, you will cover our reasonable losses and costs from it, including legal fees.
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Bangladesh consumer law.
17. Things outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can't reasonably control, such as power or internet outages, natural disasters, government action, or failures at our payment, SMS or hosting providers.
18. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a dispute can't be settled by talking to us first at info@gymcity.com, it goes to the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
19. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when GymCity or the law changes. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies, unless the change is needed sooner for the law or for security. If you keep using GymCity after that, you accept the change. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it applies.
20. App stores
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and CodersBucket Ltd., not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or for support. The store's own rules also apply.
21. Other terms
Transfer. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over GymCity.
Waiver. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
Invalid terms. If a court finds one term invalid, the rest still apply.
Notices. We send notices by email or in the app.
Whole agreement. These terms, with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between you and us about GymCity.
